Who is Kris Fitzgerald?
Kris Fitzgerald is a Veteran, a mom, and a fighter. Now she hopes to serve our nation and her community in another way: as the next Congresswoman for the 15th District of Florida.
A Life of Service
Kris Fitzgerald has dedicated her life to service. She is an Air Force veteran who served overseas, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who focused on special needs education, and a single mother to a teenage daughter.
A Pursuit of Higher Education
After serving in the Air Force, Kris settled in the Tampa area and attended the University of South Florida. Kris earned two Bachelor’s degrees in Criminology and Psychology. While raising her daughter, she earned two additional degrees: a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling and an MBA. She went on to work as an educator, helping to reach children who learn differently.
Running for Office
Working with kids inspired Kris to run for office. She was frustrated with the lack of resources available to the families she served and wanted to make a positive impact within her own community. Kris’ Mom, Brenda, ran her first successful campaign for City Commission. Now she is joined by experts and volunteers from across the Country looking to help in what is widely viewed as a stand against corruption for those who’s voices are being silenced and marginalized.
